Dear Fellow Members,

                                        At our club meeting at the Harp, Letterston we had a good turn out and finalised many of the details for the Pendine Dash.    .

The marshalling has been arranged for the start, Museum of Speed and the finish at Pont-ar-Gothi . Several members will be marshalling at the start then completing the route. Others will go straight to Pont-ar-Gothi to assist with marshalling, parking the cars and lending a hand with the teas,etc..

We wish to present the Pendine Dash to the standards set in previous years and the assistance of  members is greatly appreciated. 

A request has been made for the donation of some prizes for the raffle.A number of items have been promised but it would be appreciated if other members would like to contribute an item or two. As with last year, the rally numbers will be used in place of raffle tickets. This saves both time for the organisers and means drivers who are aiming to go home after the event are not delayed when waiting for the raffle to take place.

If you can donate a prize for the raffle please let me know or our Treasurer Jackie (01834 813308) or Brian Morris (01348 891200) and we can arrange collection of the item if you are not attending the Pendine Dash on the 8^th August. 

Additional Club Events Needed.

                                                       The evenings will soon be drawing in and Tuesday evening meetings will be affected.  It has been suggested that we could have additional runs on a Saturday and/or Sunday when we would make better use of the daylight hours. Help is needed to choose, plan and organise  some meetings and new ideas of events would be appreciated by all the club. Comments have been made to me that some events do not attract some members and it would useful if such members suggested, or better still, organised some extra events.   Help can be given for advertising the event and printing any route instructions (tulip diagrams,etc.) and assisting on the day.
